The maintenance of the room could use some attention as it appeared slightly dated.

During our four-night stay, we appreciated how close we were to St Martin's Church, just a short 1.5 km stroll away, and the delightful Windermere Steamboat Museum, which was only 900 meters down the road. both visits added to the charm of exploring the area on foot, making it easy to soak in the stunning views and quaint atmosphere of Windermere.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it! Sue was super friendly and helped us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were awesome. Our room was cleaned daily, but the shower pressure could've been better. we had a fantastic time and met some great people!

Lovely staff, brilliant location, with delicious breakfast each morning along with a flat-screen TV in the room, and safe parking available at the hotel.

Glenburn offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for exploring Windermere's nightlife. The location is excellent for accessing local attractions, and the breakfast exceeds expectations. A minor issue with shower pressure didn’t hinder my enjoyable stay.

i had a lovely honeymoon here, exceeding my previous stay in windermere. the welcome from sue was warm, and the breakfast was a delightful start to each day with fresh options. the chill-out area was cozy, perfect for unwinding after adventures.

We recently stayed in a lovely family room at this charming guest house, equipped with great amenities. The location is perfect for exploring Windermere and Bowness, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming, making our stay with a newborn baby feel special. Breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious.

In my wife’s opinion, a play area for small kids would be great.

Wi-Fi connectivity left much to be desired, frustrating when it was needed most. Plus, a lack of dinner service on-site meant having to venture out for evening meals, which could be a hassle, especially on a rainy day.
